Voyager 1 close to leaving solar system

The famous spacecraft the Voyager 1 is very close to leaving the solar system. The spacecraft is 17.7 billon kilometers away from the sun. It is the first man made object to leave the solar system. The ship used saturns gravity pole to pull itself toward the solar systems edge. The ship gave an excllent picture of Saturn’s red spot. It is also the only spacecraft to pass the icy worlds of Uranus and Neptune. The probes on the ship have enough power to power the spacecraft till 2020. The ship still has two to three years to travel before leaving the solar system. I wonder if there is going to be any planets outside the solar system?

I thought this article was very interesting because this is the first man-made spacecraft to be able to leave the solar system. This may be a new way to learn about the rest of the galaxy.I’m hoping that we get all the information we need about the other parts of space before 2020 when the craft loses all it’s power. I used to think that there was only just the milky way galaxy but now I know space is a big place.  If you want more information or want to check out some photos go to either link at the top.
